Hi,
Sorry, I did not see this post until today
There is a module called openmenusbyurl.js which will open a submenu when there is a 'match' to the url of the page. Here is the test demo for the module http://support.milonic.com/demos/openme ... /index.htm
I'm so sorry I missed this post earlier. Let me know if this is what you want

I hvae that in there - was the first thing I did but it doesn't work...
If I have this link it works: http://205.174.24.102/default.aspx
if I have this link it doesn't: http://205.174.24.102/
How do I get the effect if no page is supplied?

I think I figured it out Ruth
I added a "/" to the pagematch for the home button and I think it is working.
Is that the correct method?
THanks!

Hi,
It works in IE, once only, if you go a second time it doesn't show the menu and it does not work in FF, Opera, Netscape, Safari for pc at all.
I think the openmenusbyurl is looking for the actual url, i.e. http:// etc. or have you tried default.aspx as the match or maybe /default.aspx
Unfortunately I can't work on this on the desktop. I will try to save the page and put it at my site and see what I can find out.

Hi Ruth,
Any update on this - the project is in a LULL right now but I need to know if this approach is going to work.
Thanks!

Hi,
I've been looking at this and it was so simple I didn't see it, at least I think this is the problem. You have the pagematch= in the main menu in the Home item, but for the submenus to open when you are on the page that is for that submenu then you have to have a url someplace in the submenu that matches the url you are on.
So, if you are at the main page, then someplace in that menuHome submenu that has to be there, or say a pagematch=that url. If you are on the Institutional Investors, whatever that url is, then in that submenu the url has to be someplace either as a url= or a pagematch=that url.
Does that make sense? It's been hard to figure since you have no links anyplace in any submenu.
