Method to make a menu item inactive?

Hello.

Is there a way to disable a menu item so that it is still visible however the rollover/drop down is not? I think this is a common behavior when someone clicks on a menu item they are taken to the page and then that menu item becomes inactive but all others are still active.

Thanks for the help.
Jim

Hi,

I'm sorry but I can't answer this question. I'm pretty sure it can be done since there are those who set up their menus so that some links are greyed out depending on the login level of the person using the menu. I know some menus, or menu like links are made like that by using js functions. With Milonic most people use the page properties rather than deactivating the link to show someone where they are at the particular time, kind of a you are here type thing which shows by having the pagebgcolor, pageimage, pagesubimage, pagecolor etc. be different when they are on the matching page. I just don't have the knowledge of how to do the other.

You can try the support area http://www.milonic.com/support/

There is also a menu editing module available on the bolt on modules page http://www.milonic.com/menumodules.php

and an example page for that http://www.milonic.com/menueditapi.php
