In looking at one of my sites with the lynx text viewer to see what the site shows all I see for the menus is the link back to the milonic website. I have title tags in the menus so a mouseover will show more about the menu selection...but is there a way to show the menu items in a text only browser or screen reader?

Hi,
I don't know much about any of these readers. I did try to research things, but all I found was that it is terribly confusing, one issue being that with js dhtml menus that have submenus the submenus might not be 'visible' to the readers if js is turned off. However, there is a solution, two actually. 1. you can build the menu from a list-based menu which means that the ul/li links are available for all browsers that have js turned off and 2. you can put such links into a noscript tag. Those are the only ways I know to do it. But, again, I am not really well versed on these issues.

Hi Ruth
I used the no script method out on the fxtas site and it works just fine. But what is the class "milonic" all about? Is there some sort of file associated with these text menus?
Thanks

Hi,
I'm not sure what you mean by class= milonic? Are you talking about the call for the files? That is just something that this site needs I think. You don't need it since you have a licensed menu.
