position of menu items

the table,witch includes menu, is 1000 px and there are 10 menu items.but all items have diffrent lenght (eg first item is: me second one is :monopoly ) but all items have equal place and it shows very bad.i am using php&mysql and menu items menu levels have been creating by php codes.i want to change width of each item manuelly.is there any way to do this.

You may or may not get a response from one of our users here. v3 of the menu has not been supported for a very long time. You would do much better by upgrading to v5 for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is support here in the forum.
