How to implement custom padding in a sub-menu

I've tried searching and have seen the css examples for the top menus but can't figure out how to customize the spacing in a sub. I need to keep the vertical padding at 0 but need to add 20px or so to the left - ie offset the sub text from the frame of the sub.

This is probably pretty easy but I can't find it. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Never mind - found it. Now I'm looking to see if I can customize the column width in a two-column sub.
