menu width control

Hello Ruth,

I just want to thanks for all the help you have given to me and other people. In addition, i have another little problem, hope it can be solved.

The problem is, the menu is actually too wide (even though i set the width of the table to a fix value - as menu is set in the cell <td> of table). And because the menu shown in the milonic is not that wide, so i am thinking why my menu is so wide? Is that because i develop the page in ASP .NET? I really don't know.

Another thing is: if i commented out the subimage(arrow.gif) property of menuItem, the menu becomes normal (width is as the length of the text), for example the menu will be looked like:

home | works | contact us | About | Links

Then if i don't comment the subimage(arroe.gif) the menu is too wide as:

home | works -> | contact us -> | About -> | Links ->

And this is not i am expecting, so is there a way to set this to a proper width menu?

hello, actually the space between the menuItem and arrow.gif is [b]more[/b] than that.

I need the page, or you need to post the code here. We can't figure out the issue or how to fix it if we can't see it and all the coding involved, i.e. css, menu, html etc.
