Setting minimum height for a vertical menu

Is there a way to set a minimum height for a vertical menu?
Also how is mm_fixheight used?

Hi,

There is no minheight property for a menu. There is menuheight which allows you to specify the height of the menu, and also itemheight so you can specify the height of each item within the menu.


the mm_fixheight property allows you to specify whether you want your vertical menu items to use 100% height when specifying a menu height. It's useful if you want to use the menu inside a CMS that declares 100% height objects.

As for the mm_fixheight were do I use the property, in the style section or the "new menuname" section? Also what is the correct syntax? And what is CMS?

Is there someway I can determine the height of the menu after it is built and store it in a variable?

How do I submit a feature request for minheight and minwidth of the overall menu?

Hi,

Below my name are links to various things. 3 of them are to the properties of the menu. You'll note that the pages are named so that they 'match' where the properties go, so styleproperties, menuproperties, itemproperties .php for each. I haven't looked but I believe since this has to do with the menu height that it is a menu property and would be set in the same place you'd set top=; left=; alwaysvisible=; and so on.

As to your question about using it, you'll have to contact Milonic since I have no idea about CMS [content management system] setups. I believe those are things like ColdFusion and such. If you are a professional and above license holder you can make a ticket at the beta support section. Go to milonic.com and at the bottom you'll see a text link to Tech Support. On the support page you'll need to log in to create and send a ticket for support. You have to have a professional or above license, this is NOT available for Free license holders, only the forum for those.

You can also contact Milonic under the contact Milonic section to make the request for the minheight, although I believe it isn't there because setting a height for the menu would keep it from going smaller than that height set and if the items require a longer height the menu expands to accommodate that. Hope this helps.
