Hi,

No, the menu doesn't just leave the overimage because there is an 'active' page. What you need to do, especially since you are using images which are different in each item is to set pageimage= and then set it as the overimage for that item, so the home item would be

Code:
aI("image=../images/menu1_01_off.gif;overimage=../images/menu1_01_on.gif;pageimage=../images/menu1_01_on.gif;url=index.htm;");

You would do the same for each item, setting the pageimage to be whatever the overimage is for that item.

I have to tell you that on my browser I can't see a difference in the two images, I do see when I put them together that there is a slight difference but it is not obvious and I would never actually notice the on image set as a page image. Just wanted to let you know that, since I"m sure you want people to actually see the pageimage. You could use the overimage to make a new page image, a little lighter and maybe with the text underlined.

thanks a lot for the hint - to set pageimage=

Hi Ruth,
thanks a lot for the hint - to set pageimage=
for overwriting the default off-image!

Hi,

Well, it's probably my computer, the resolution 800x600, and my eyes :)
I do see it, it's just not real obvious. I mean I see it if I look for it, but if I'm just glancing at the menu, it's not real noticeable to me. But, you should probably go by what you see. Your eyes are probably a lot younger :!:
