Firefox/Safari Submenu Misalignment

Hi Folks,

I've been using Milonic Menus for about five years and have had good luck with them. I've just created a new site and decided to create a menu that relies on background images for the top menu. It works well in IE, but the sub menus align at the top of the menu in Firefox and Safari (for windows -- I haven't yet tested on a Mac).

The new menu is currently in a table cell. I've followed the advice on separating the top menu and submenus, but the problem still occurs. I tested the menu on a test page that doesn't use a table and it also still occurs.

You can view the menu at http://learning.colostate.edu. You can view the test page at http://learning.colostate.edu/test.cfm.

I've searched the Milonic site but haven't seen reports of any similar issues, so I'm sure it's something I've done incorrectly. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi,

I just went to the site and the test page doesn't have the menu, the main page does and it seems to be working fine. Have you fixed this issue? If not, which browser version?

I ended up rebuilding the menu from scratch, using the menu_data.js file as a template. I've gone through so many versions of the Milonic menu over the past few years that I'd ended up with things I didn't really need. I stripped down my submenus using the new menu data file (from version 5.777) and they work fine now.

Thanks for getting back to me.

Mike
