Please view http://www.jacksonshg.com/newjhg to view the menu.
It is onlt happening in IE but when you move from one main menu item to another it is redrawing the page each time.
It seems that if you click on the flash layer it stops the blinking?????
What can I do to correct this?
In FF it is great but very annoying in IE.
Please Help

Billy,
First you need to upgrade. While you're only 3 levels down, you still need to be at the current version for support here in the forum. Also, quite a number of bugs have been fixed recently.

Hi,
Which browser version? So those with that browser version can test for you.
Also, just for your info, you can go to the below link and click the watch this topic link in that post. You'll get a notice when John posts for the update.

The issue is present till you click on the div that holds the flash animation under the menu when you click on the flash the menu operates as intended?
Thanks

Hi,
2 things you need to do to fix this.
One. is to download the new version of the menu (v 5.770)
Two. Visit the following link http://www.milonic.com/activateflash.php to see how to fix the flicker. Basically, Microsoft have been forced, in court, to deactivate their active controls (Flash, Java etc) in their browser. It's rediculous, I know, but there was a patent problem. The company involved hasn't bothered with the other browsers, probably because they couldn't afford the half a Billion Dollar law suit suit. The Internet took a few steps backwards that day and leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. more here: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/12/05/ie_tweaks/
Anyway, the fix is here:

Hope this helps,
Andy
