Hi,

I need to use a flash based news ticker on our site which for some reason overrides the Milonic's horizontal drop down menu that we are using (in Safari). http://www.infoworld.com/design/ralitza ... icker.html.

I'll appreciate very much any suggestions!

Thank you,
Ralitza

Hi,

Well, it seems that the Safari problem has been an issue for a long time. Andy has posted the following in reference to the Safari and Flash issue

Quote:
Safari 2.0 - you may not have much joy with this browser version. We've been onto Apple for years to get this sorted and it's taken them until version 3 to do it. Works on both IE and Mac (Safari v.3)

From this I have to assume it's a browser problem that Milonic can't do anything about and that this is fixed in Safari 3.

Actually I read Andy's post to say it does work in 3.x, but not 2.x. Unfortunately, while very good, 3.x still needs work - but it is a beta.
