Script Error menuStyle not defined sorry it is long

Okay this is a simple fix and I know it but for the life of me I cannot figure it out. I did find one reference
to it on your website on how to fix it but I stll can figure out why it is not working.

I am using the free version with a link to our site (we are a non-profit agency.) I am redoing our main
website using your DHTML menu.

The site is not yet published it is still in the works and has to go through the red tape
before I can make it live.

Anyway I am using php, mysql and have figured all that out but I am calling the mainmenu
which is called topmenu.html in my index.php.

I did find this info on your website but still cannot make sence of how come my menuStyle is not define.
what exactly do I have to do to define it? Help this site has to be ready for review tomorrow.

Well, uncross the eyes This is something I have done a number of times, so don't feel too bad.
Take a look at this line in your main menuCode:
with(milonic=new menuname("Mainmenu")){
style=menuStyle;

The only problem is that there is no menuStyle defined in the vl_menu_data.js file.

Tis true... it is a defined style, but alas, not the defined style.
Your style is named horizStyle, but your menu is looking for a style
named menuStyle. You gotta fix the name in one place or the
other so that they are the same.

Thank you both I feel like a bit of a dunce just now but I'm happier. I do have a couple of more issues,
to do with the style but not the error since that's now solved - thank you again.

space which is 718 pixels.

Lastly, I hope what setting controls how fast a submenu closes?
Example on source page given, Information, More Information
(sub menu) takes a long time to close.

Add this to the horizontal menu style definition: Code:
rawcss="padding:1px 3px 1px 3px";
That will make the padding in the item 1px at the
top and bottom as you now have it, and 3px at right and left
which will of course increase the space to the right and left of the separator.

Try adding itemwidth=78; in the main menu on the page, just below position="relative";

You have keepalive=1; set in the style definitions, remove that.

Hi,

Well, it seems your menuStyle is defined, but without a page we'll not be able to tell the problem. At a guess, the path to your menu files is not correct. If it can't find the program files, it will give that kind of message, so make sure the paths to all your Milonic files are correct.

If that's not it, we would really need to see the page, even a test page with the same problem so we can figure what's up.

Now I have another issue I am trying to figure out why my menu is not showing up when I run my test. I see that it is being called and getting noticed on the test gindex.php but yet the menu does not show up.

I can see the test link when the page comes up so I know it should work but why is the menu
not showing.

My boss said we can go ahead and purchase the full version is I can get this test to work so we do not
have to link back. I really like your menu and I have to make several
other sub-menus but I am stuck right now.

Hi,

The paths to the milonic files are incorrect

According to your page code the path to the milonic_src.js file is src="milonic_src.js" This translates to a full path of

However, if you put that into the address bar it doesn't give you the milonic_src.js file, it gives you page not found. That is the same result for all the menu files, so either they are not there, or you've put them into a folder but didn't put the folder into the path.

Are you using the latest version (5.772) of the menu? I ask because your calls look somewhat outdated. The current JS calls for the code are...
