I'm dense: still get Milonic info post publishing my info

Ok, working towards a doctorate proves one can still be ignorant <raises hand in sad acceptance>...

Don't bite my head off...using FP '03 and to the best of my knowledge have followed Milonic's User Guide correctly, yet I fail to reap the desired ending.

I'm gobsmacked.

I know you lots are not paid by Milonic (which needs to be rectified), so my thanks go out to those who can save me from utter embarrassment as my site is seen all over...

Save the lack of url addresses and what not, what am I doing wrong that dictates that I have Milonic's info on my site and not mine?


I've copied the 4 files (mmenudom.js, mmenuns4.js, milonic_src.js and menu_data.js), and made their own folder as I could not, for the life of me, copy and paste them individually. Maybe that is important. Yes?


I've also cut and pasted this in my Index just after <body>:

That is the menu_data.js file you have downloaded plus you put in the images however there are no images at the stated path. For example, this bgimage=xp_button_green.gif assumes the path is

However, if you put that in the browser address bar you get page not found. So, I don't know where you put the images but they are not in the root directory.

As to the data that's because you are uploading a file that only has your changed bgimages, images etc in the main menu but you left the submenus as they are in the downloaded file. You need to upload your changed file, maybe you should save it as a different name, say
taekwon_data.js or something and try uploading that...Don't forget if you save your file as a new name to change the call for the menu_data.js file to whatever you've named yours.

Ms. Ruth (or whomever),

I greatly appreciate your help...I didn't realise that my images and files were not in my root directory (but rather in a folder within it)...derrrr!

I believe I did what you suggested and copied my code over what I downloaded into the menu_data.js file (I do not feel confident enough to alter the name and make subsequent changes elsewhere)...but no avail. I now have the menus in proper form now, but not with our information.

Hi,

I do not know what you want as the main menu, but right now you only have one item in it, the Home button which has the link url to your Home page. And there's nothing in it anyplace for items that will open the submenus.

For example, try this, I don't know what you want but you can try this to see if this is something like it. I did remove the Feedback submenu and just make it a main menu item that links to the page, like your Home item. And, I didn't know what images you wanted for the Gallery Plus and the Feedback items.
