Can I force The destroy of the menu?

Hi all,
I wrote a javascript code to generate the menu from our own XML. So we can generate the menu from an AJAX response.

Well, it works fine the first time, but next time the menu is drew, the page document enter in a strange mode, it appears like a white div stays over all and no function is possible over controls.

I think, i must destroy the first menu before draw the second menu. It is possible to destroy all objects from old menu calling a method?
