Weird 'not defined' errors: $k, h$, _iP, hidetip

Hello folks-

I've just installed a milonic menu at http://www.fccb.org . For some reason, I'm getting messages intermittently about this or that variable being undefined: sometimes it is $k, sometimes it is h$, sometimes _iP, sometimes hidetip.

If it matters, I've got the menu variables loaded into the page as a PHP include instead of as external .js. It works fine, except for the issues mentioned above.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much—

should be possible to reproduce error messages otherwise its really difficult to trace bugs......wherever they are.
"Sometimes" is not very precise.
