Javascript help: Moveable by dragging

Now you guys look like some of the best people around in javascript through these menus and some of the menus do what I'm looking for.

I'm admin at MyriaFX.com and I have recently put up a Shoutbox in my forums that floats on the page much like one of your menus. I have used code from here and that is the basis of how my Shoutbox works right now; you can move it to the four corners and that's it. What I am wanting to do is make it dragable but I don't have much experience in javascript so I'm really at a loss of what to do. The position is based off of a target_x and target_y if that means anything. I just want a simple way to drag the menu around the window.

So to clarify once more I am looking for a way to change the attributes of target_x and target_y by dragging the window around, that's it; nothing else. I appreciate the help!

Hello,

Sorry, this forum is a support forum for the Milonic Menu only. If you need JavaScript support try these internet newsgroups:

1) alt.comp.lang.javascript
2) comp.lang.javascript

You can either use a newsreader or go to Google.com and click on groups. Search for the above groups.

Hope this helps.

Not a problem. I think you'd be better off at one of those forums. Even though the people in this forum know the menu inplementation pretty well, I'm not sure there are any hardcore JavaScript-ers in here.

I can't write any JS myself, but I can usually figure out how to implement it pretty well.

Good luck.
