I added the call to the tooltips.js file on my page and then added in one of my menu items tootip=this is a test;

It never shows up or gives an error.
I then used your mouseover code to see if the tooltip worked on a graphic and it worked fine. Just need to figure out how to change the font etc. of the tooltip. just not sure...been a long day and the brain is fried. PRobable an easy answer.

tooltip fixed...almost

Since I have only used the menus and didn't care what order they where called in i was not aware that the tooltip.js file needs to be called BEFORE the menu file is called. I just assumed it didn't matter.
Not sure I saw anything out on the instrucstions page for tooltips that said that...might be something to emphasize. The order is important. Now I just have to figure out how to change the fonts etc..

Hi,

We will look at getting the documentation finished and corrected for this.

Another bug I found using tooltips

There maybe a fix but I can't find it. If the tooltip is long and it follows the mouse when it moves to the right border of the browser window it makes the horiz scroll bar activate and create a wider page. That should be OK but it then leaves the scroll bar and the window wider than normal.
The prefered way would be to have the tooltip move to the left and not allow the tooltip to create a wider web page.
Any code to fix that?

Do you have a URL of where this happens?

It will help us to be able to actually see this problem to see what the tooltips are doing

Here is the url but it is in test mode

This is a new client....and I have been trying to get him to change over to your system. http://www.prtassoc.com/test/president.asp
move the mouse over the picture starting from the left side of the picture and the tool tip will appear. Then move it to the right and watch the scroll bar appear on the bottom. This is in a 1024x768 window.
