Hi there
I can not find the answer on the website or forum so lets try it this way.
I have to combine multiple tasks to a headingmenu.
at mouseover the heading should be changing color (did it) showing the submenu in the body (no problem) and change the picture in the body (problem) also in mouseover. Everything works great but not the changing of the body on mouseover. Working on our new site: http://www.vastinvorm.nl/2010

Hi,

I've posted for Milonic. I do not believe this is possible. You are using a frames menu which contains a module to force communication across frames between main and sub menus. I cannot picture a way you could make the main menu in a different frame somehow control something that is taking place on an html page in a separate frame.

my question regarding the heading menu

Somehow I do not give up.
There must be way to show the pictures or a new url in the body using a mouseover option in the headmenu even in frames?

The heading just states while mouseover menu 1 > show menu sub1 in body
can't it be:
while mouseover menu 1 > show submenu 1 and url 1 in body?

please say yes!

thanks,
Peter

Hi,

:) what do I know. I don't know anything about js and functions, so....

According to Milonic you can do what you want. It is not something Milonic will do, it has provided the means to do it within the menu properties.

Quote:
It WILL actually control things by using the onfunction and clickfunction properties. You can specify your own custom JavaScript that will change images on the same page or another page as with Frames.

There is no one here on the forum, as far as I know that knows how to create such a function and apply it through the menu. This is not something I can do.

There is a section of the site where I've posted demos of some functions which have been created by users, and applied through the menu, and have been posted here in the forum . Perhaps if you look at those functions something may provide you with some help.

The pages have explanations of the functions and how they are called with the menu. Hopefully something there might help you.

Great, Thank you!
I will let you know if something turns up.
Lets see what the JAVA experts come up with...

Fortunately I only make the designs and give other people problems
