i just downloaded IE7 BETA Preview to check our work websites.
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/IE/ie7 ... irect.mspx
I then noticed that the milonic menu has problems in IE7. I have attached 2 screenshots of our sites so you can see what happens. Cuts off half the menu items & the sub-menu's dont appear to the right enough, covering up all remaing menu items.
Our websites

Any ideas? Or could this be something that microsoft hasnt sorted yet?

Hi
You are using the version 5.18
The actual version is 5.42
Please first upgrade to actual version, make your tests again and then report
Michael
Hope all these preconditions are met:

Evaluation of Internet Explorer 7 should start now, but the software should not be used on production systems in mission-critical environments. Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview will only run on Windows® XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) systems, but will ultimately be available for Windows Vista, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, and Windows Server 2003.
Don´t you think, you´re a little early ?

Well spotted Migru.
I can confirm that an upgrade to the latest version will indeed fix the problem.
Cheers,

Thanks for your help guys... ok i never setup the original menu but I have downloaded and upgraded to Version 5.742 by replacing milonic_src.js, mmenudom.js, mmenuns4.js & menu_data.js.
The postion of the sub menus has indeed been fixed, but the text on the main menu is still being centered & cut off..? Any ideas

Hi
it looks, as if your text alignment is done in your css file and therefore by the menu indirectly only.
(classes dynamicMenuOn, dynamicMenuOff) in the home menu there is for instance an offclass= dynamicMenuOn, wihich is defined in the css file)
I did not go further into details.
You could test this in one menu item by disabling css and setting align=right;
and see how it looks in IE 7
I haven´t the IE 7 environment yet.

Also, we do not support beta software. There is no way of knowing how many additional changes/bug fixes will be made before the final release comes out, and it's simply not practical, and way too time-consuming, to try and keep up with betas (not to mention, I would think, obvious).
