Menu Image Transparency

Hi!

I have added an image to one of the menu items, i have set the background to white and set it transparent just like the images you get in the sample menus. This appears fine in Firefox but in IE6 you see the white background. You only see the white background on my image, the sample images are fine! Any ideas?
