MAC Safari Issue - Menu hides behind flash objects

I've tried messing with z-index on the flash object but to no avail. The menu pops up above the flash object as it's supposed to, however when i mouse around on the menu the nav items flash in and out. I'm not sure what is going on! Any ideas?

Flash objects are designed to be always on top. The only thing I know is to make sure you have wmode="transparent";
