Milonic works on one site not another in same IE 6 browser?

We have a client on IE 6.0 PC.
The left nav works on the staging site:
http://216.133.72.219/
but does not work in the same browser and machine on:
http://www.alexanders.net/
How could this be?
Thanks in advance,
Joe

You need a drawMenus(); at the end of your _data file. Other than that, you are 7 levels down on the code. An update will be necessary for more assistance.

John,
Thanks for the input. but I don't think the code has anything to do with the error we are receiveing.
If it was the code, we would see the problem on both sites.
I can replicate the problem they are having by turning off javascript on my browser. Unfortunetaly, we have verified that javascript is enabled on their browser when they hit both sites and one of them is still not working.
Keep in mind that both sites work for almost everyone else.
I am wondering if the error has something to do with IE security settings. Perhaps it is not "trusting" the other site.
We purchased a copy of the milonic navigation for this site, but you are correct in that the version we are actually using is a bit older. Don't think it is the culprit in this case.
Thanks,
Joe

I didn't, either. It was just something I noticed.

Good possibility, especially given the fact that most other folks are having no trouble.

Maybe not, but it is required that the current version of the menu be in place for support.

As far as I can tell we are using version 5.728. I don't have the time to follow Milonic's various versioning. We are also using it in a somewhat unstandard way which to my knowledge can cause us problems in IE on the Mac, but we have chosen not to support that.
If anyone can offer some real advice on how IE security settings could be causing the javascript/Milonic menu to not display on the one site, please let me know.
I am not on the up-and-up on how those settings can effect javascript.
Perhaps there is some goofy problem with the Milonic license protection. Does Milonic still do license protection? I remember that it used to run really slowly if it was not being served from the licensed domain name. (Which by the way causes countless problems with sites that have many URLs or Aliased URLs and it was always a joy to show clients a staging site and have them ask why the navigation was so slow.)
Could some kind of license problem be causing this intermittently?
Thanks in advance,
Joe

Hi,
The menu does not contain any code for doing domain name lookups, it never has either.
Not sure what the problem is but http://www.alexanders.net/ looks Ok now, did you manage to fix it?

Andy,
Thanks for the reply.
I clearly remember a time when the Milonic left nav tool would perform very slowly if it was not hsoted from the URL that it was registered for. Am I losing my mind? Sounds like it. Maybe I am confused with another product.
The issue is not resolved. This user can see the left nav when they navigate to our staging IP address, but when they navigate to the real URL (different web server) they do not see the left navigation.
Thanks,
Joe
