Don't know if anybody here has that browser. I've asked the boss to take a look.

Hi,

I've looked and cannot see any problems - Please note that AOL uses the same code as Internet Explorer and so should be perfectly compatible.

Do you know if the users with problems have installed any Firewall software?

I do not know about a Firewall, but we have spoken to two different customers that are on AOL 9.0 using Windows XP that can see the Milonic Drop down box but are not able to click it.

I don't know if this applies in these circumstances but I found this one thing about the aol explorer it has to do with some pages not being displayed or being blank when displayed. Not sure if it would relate to the menu. Th solution they give is to

1. Open Safety & Security Center (SSC) in AOL Suite.
2. Select "Identity Protection" and expand the "Firewall" menu to reveal "Program Permissions."
3. Set "aexplore.exe" to allow
4. Select "Apply" and "Save"

Shown below is thew most recent update from our Customer Assistance/Call Center Manager
"In the last 3 days I have received 10 complaints from customers that they are unable make a selection from out Milonic drop down boxes. In the cases where it was a phone call we have apologized to the customer, and taken the order via phone. Where it has been an email to our attention – we have called the customer back, and offered to assist by taking the order over the phone. Of the 10 complaints that I am aware of – 4 are AOL with Windows XP. Others have AOL, but unsure of Windows versions. All who know which browser version list 9.0 for AOL. The remainder aren’t sure of their browser or windows version on the PC."

Ruth-
The issue appears to be with AOL 9.0 , not with AOL Explorer

Any help would be appreciated

Hi,

Just tried your site using AOL 9 and it worked fine - This was from a copy placed on our server so that we could remove the AOL block.

Just for your information, the menu is used on Millions of websites around the World and if there was a problem with AOL we would definately have been informed by other users. Your problem is issolated to your website but unfortunately, I'm unable to reproduce the fault and so debugging is impossible.

I'm sorry about all of this but unless I can actually see the problem I have no way of knowing what the cause is. All I know is that the menu has been tested and works fine.

Kind Regards
Milonic Support
