IFRAMES - a problem under Linux?!

Dear friends,
I'm trying your DHTML Menu Version 5, which is great, but i have a serious problem.
In your documentation you say that unless i have no standard frame, there is no special "frame coding" necessary for iframes. But i have a case where this not seems to be true.
I have a single .html file with one iframe in it - across the whole width of the page. And i have a *vertical* main menu defined in this single .html file - and this menu gets cut off by the border of the iframe.
This problem never shows up under windows but in konqueror and firefox under linux.
Is there any explanation of this and could you please give me a hint how to solve this problem?
Thanking you
