javascript parameter in url

I'm using the following code for one of the menu items:
aI("title=Home;url=/index.php?osCsid=;image=/catalog/img/menu/home.gif;overimage=/catalog/img/menu/home_on.gif;status=Back To Home Page;");

Between osCsid= and ; how can I insert a javascript variable (I've already set the variable's value within php tags within javascript tags earlier in the code)?

Hi Nick,

I think our 'resident' javascript person is out of town this week. I don't know a danged thing about that, however I did find a couple of topics which talk about javascript in the url and one in which the person is using the mscssid= in the url

I'm posting the links here, but since I don't know javascript they may be of no use to you. Fingers crossed is a good thing
