Menu over Flash image

I have a list of menu elements containing submenus which appear below the main menu. The menu is placed above a flash image and the dropdown of submenus should appear over the flash image. But this is not happening. I can see only the main menu but the submenus to appear below the main menu get hidden behind the flash image. How to remove this problem and display all the submenus over the flash image
