How do I create an inactive section on a milonic menu?

I have a horizontal menu starting about 200 pixels from the left of the screen and stretching all the way off the screen to the right.

It has a background image and the last button on the menu stops short of the right side of the screen.

I cannot find a way to continue the menu without it being clickable. I have tried using a really wide separator and inserting another button with the cusor set to default all without success .. can anyone help with this one?
