Form Autocomplete

Has anybody come across a good script for autocompleting text input entries on a form or know if Milonic may be developing something of the sort. If anybody doesn't know what I mean, you can look at php.net. Their search at the top does exactly what I'm looking for. But I am looking for something a little more customizable than reusing their code even though it is distributed under the GPL.
