Hello friends,
I'm trying the dhtml menu version 3.3.19 on an standalone pc and comparing it with another dhtml menu.
It run 40% faster than the other but it's very slow to load and link to another page.
I'm testing a main menu with 9 items and aproximatly 200 items in the submenus.
Someone has a commnet?

Hi,
Try version 5 - It's much much faster than version 3 and is the only version that we now fully support.
Hope this helps,
Andy

Hi Walter,
Do you have a test page so we can see what you mean? Are you talking about putting a vertical menu that when you click an item it shifts down to show the submenu? If that is what you mean, there is a collapsible menu. I think it's still being developed, but you could get the sample here If you download the sample, make sure you get the newest treemenu.js module from the link on that page, also.

Hi Ruth,
What I mean is putting the menu in a table's cell and that the cell expand down when I clic in a submenu item. Is it possibly?
I've download the collapsible menu and I'm testing it.

Hi Walter,
I think that probably anything is possible with Milonic. But, I don't know how you would do what you mentioned except with the collapsible/ tree type menu. If you could put the layout idea you have here in between code tags... the html code for the page pointing out where you want the menu that will push the table down maybe someone could figure out how to do what you want. I can't visualize expanding the table, I keep seeing the whole page layout shifting as you do that....

Ruth is correct about the tree. See an example at http://www.west.asu.edu/studenthealth/. Click on 'Student Affairs' and watch the footer move down the page.
