IE CTRL-F Question

I recently encountered a issue with a user performing a CTRL-F on a page. The find results appeared to be successful, although no word was highlighted on the page. The user was finding the search word in the menu text.
Searching this forum, I found this unresolved posting and wondered if there was some method to prevent the text of the menu items from being found.

Thanks.

Could you list browser and os? Also, I'm not sure I understand the problem. I just went to the Milonic home page, hit control F and typed in html. It's set to down by default and I left that, clicked find and it highlighted every instance of html [including that part of dhtml] in both the menu and the page. Then I went to the dhtml menu samples dropdown, clicked on horizontal and tried the same thing when I got to that page. It found all instances of html and it highlighted each one as it hit it. I'm using ie5.5 win98se.
