Firstly I am a newbie to the site :o but have designed the menu's within a eval version. Now I know that version 5 doesn't support frames but i have used the fix that has been posted on here that works really well. I also know that it is not supported in any way but, the question i need to ask is I have the submenu in a different frame but i need them to follow the scroll which currently they aren't?

can any one help?

Cheers

Matt

Hi Matt,
As noted the code is not supported but I wanted you to understand about the 'submenus'. I think if you read that post in more detail you will see that Hergio said that although you see what look just like the 'submenus' they really are not, they are separate objects now. I can't give you in depth on that because I don't know javascript, but in general terms, [more or less] although the 'submenu' data is defined in the menu_data.js file it's not the menu that is using it's normal programming to open the submenus when you mouseover it. It is the function you have applied to the menu which has in effect turned the submenus into separate pop up menus. Sorry I can't explain better. But, for what you want I believe you would need another function or something in addition in that function, if it is even possible. You might try setting followscroll=1 in the submenus and see if that does anything but I doubt it.
