Menu and AOL

Here's the URL to our menu: http://www.pchas.org

I had the opportunity to test our menu using America Online (Version 7) for the first time over the weekend.

When I first accessed our page, I got a script error each time I hovered over a menu item that pointed to a submenu. I came back later intending to write down the specific error message. This time, the submenus appeared when I hovered over them, but they would not disappear unless I clicked to go to a new page. No error messages appeared on this second visit.

As a further test, I then visited the Milonic web site, http://www.milonic.org, and the same issue occurred with submenus appearing but not disappearing appropriately.

I was testing this on a friend's computer, so I'm anxious to know if this was unique to his install or is a more universal issue with the menu and AOL.

Thanks for helping...
David.

I haven't been on aol in months, and never used their browser when I did have them for my dialup. I only have 4.0 available so I don't know what the newer versions of aol do but 4.0 works perfectly fine, no errors and all the submenus opened and closed as they should. My OS is win98se. You might post the OS along with the other information, I don't know that it makes a difference but it might. And, I'm sure there were all kinds of changes [for better or worse] in the newer versions of AOL.

Thanks for the reply. I'm glad to know the menu worked in AOL version 4. I believe that my friend's operating system is Win ME. He's using AOL version 7. I'd appreciate anyone with other variations of AOL letting me know if they encounter any problems.

Thanks.
David.

Your page/menu [ http://www.pchas.org/ ] looks and works fine in AOL 9.0 on my Windows XP machine.

Thanks for checking our menu. I'm becoming more confident that it was a problem with the particular AOL install I was using. David.

Sorry I can't help - no AOL.
