Is it possible to keep a sub nav visable

Is it possible to have a dropdown submenu be "always visable" but only when you are on a page that is listed in that menu?

What I am thinking is, on the homepage only the main menu shows (horisontal) when you mouse over items the sub nav displays (also horisontal) If I click on a menu item the new page loads but that sub nav remains visable. If someone mouses over another menu item, that sub nav disapears to be replaced by the apropriate nav, but then comes back if someone mouses off the menu.

I hope that makes sense

Yes, see THIS post and all the stuff following. Kevin did a js function to do just that. Hopefully the link I put here went right to the start of the discussion about the script. If not it starts someplace on page two of the topic. Make sure you read it all because the script Kevin did developed as he worked on how to do this.
