ie6 malfunctions?

I've used this forum innumerable times and have failed to see any messages on recent IE6 malfunctions. Even as I peruse the Milonic site menu itself, I am seeing the following:
-- Erractic behavior of submenus, some not closing, some opening too quickly
-- Constantly blinking backgrounds if the mouse moves over a menu item
I am using IE6.0.2800.1106 on Win2000Pro with RC35 just released.
Am I the only one...?

Hmmm... now I am beginning to wonder if it's my system... as this SIDE menu at: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/davidmenu.htm was also doing a weird jiggling and stayed stuck. Not sure how this could happen tho.

A lot of things act strange in IE6
Haven't checked in a while, but will fire it up soon in win 98.

Not seeing anything like that here and I've seen any other complaints.
Might be time for a re-install of Internet Explorer, me thinks.

It's possible I began experiencing difficulties with Milonic menus after one of the following:
-- I had installed Security Update for Windows 2000 (KB823980).
-- Also somewhere along the way two additional programs made their way onto my computer, My Search Bar, and Nav Helper. I removed both of these and neither seemed to effect the difficulties I was experiencing.
-- Microsoft Service Pack 3 (Installed after noticing menu was behaving badly -- did not affect performance)
-- Microsoft Service Pack 4 (Installed after noticing menu was behaving badly -- did not affect performance)
So now I did clean reinstall of Win2000 with Service Pack 2... (why when there's XP, you may be asking... well it's what I have right now AND I had heard about too many holes in XP)
Will add more if I have anything

FOLLOW UP... SIGH... I FOUND THE ISSUE.
Zone Alarm Pro seems to be the culprit... tho I am not sure how. I had this before and it did not affect the milonic menu or the rendering of other internet pages, but now it is. When I deactivate it, EVERTHING IS FINE.
Additionally, I'd ad that Zone Alarm has settings to filter out advertising, cookies and the ilk. Yet, some images and perhaps some HTML coding it misinterpreted as such. Thus the weird renderings.

That rings a bell, although it had slipped my mind until you posted it. At least one other person had a problem with it long ago and had posted it here. Don't think there was ever a resolution as to exactly what the problem was, except it was ZAP.
Glad you nailed it.
