Question about the copyright notice

I have the notice commented on all my pages, but it's the old one with all the explanations referring to the free for whatever sites and stuff. So, what exactly do you want put up? Just the lines in the milonic_src file?

Ruth :)

For the folks who put just the JS calls on their pages, I believe nothing else is necessary there. However, if they put actual menu code in with the HTML, then the entire copyright notice, as is contained in the comments at the top of the code files, should be added.

Regardless of whether the copyright is placed in the HTML or not, it MUST be left in all three of the menu code files, as it states within that section...

Removal of these copyright notices is absolutely unacceptable, not to mention illegal.

Just for reference, the latest version, which folks will always have when they post new code, is...

Self-explanatory, I think. All versions of the software in use, free and up, must be licensed.

As for the license number, just placing it in the _src file should be sufficient.

 Well, dang...I put it on all my pages back with rc31. Anyway, those were the lines I wanted to make sure about, the ones you gave. So, whatever page I put it on I'll use that. Thanks a lot

Actually, we (the team) owe you a Thank You (along with Maz and a few other long-time members of our 'family'). You folks have really been jumping in with a lot of good answers for our users, and it is very much appreciated.

So - Tank U :!: :D

Well, I have to tell you, I do it because it's a real learning experience....helps me learn how to either do something or figure a workaround. Especially since I don't believe, unless you guys had infinite time to do the menu, that it could be coded to do everything we all ask that it do, :) , So, helping actually helps us learn how to work things. But, I appreciate the thanks.

Yup I'll second that John :D

Thanks very much for all the posts you been doing Ruth.

These things do not go unnoticed and it's most appreciated.

Thanks
Andy
