Hey, i'm trying to get my new website 65.215.194.171 running using this menu and it looks fine in IE 5, 5.5, and 6. However, notice in NS that the menu is much wider than the page, i know why its doing this but i dont know how to fix it....
menudata: http://65.215.194.171/java/menu_data.js
notice the dummy button between testimonials and search, the width is set to 1000, this so that HOME, PRODUCTS, ETC all appear on the left side and SEARCH, BASKET, ETC all appear on the far right. in IE it ignores the 1000 width for the dummy button and just makes it as wide as it can while still making the menu 100% wide, (actually its 100.9% because at 100% it doesnt quite take up the whole screen), but in netscape it makes the dummy button 1000 wide, is there a way to make the menu width a higher priority than the button width? or is there a way to align the buttons the way i want without using a dummy button?
thanks,
~Hal

Sorry you lost me.
Why? When you can set the menuwidth to 100% and itemwidth to 100%.
If you go outside of the rules, some browser is going to notice.
This is my suggestion:
Try screenposition="center"; menuwidth="100%"; itemwidth="100%";
Take out the button and use a separator.
