Getting Menu Info from an XML file

Hi,
I'm trying to edit the menu_data file so it reads the values in from an xml file with no luck, anyone any suggestions?

Don't know XML, but a lot of folks here are building menus on the fly from PHP and databases. Perhaps looking at some of those posts (Search) might help.
