Another Solution...

Hello,
I had a similar problem once upon a time (I've scince started using alternates to the iFrame I was using). Only on the home page did I have the appropriate div. So what I did is in my template that gets applied to every page, which inlcudes my menu, I placed a bogus div of the appropriate name. This doesn't seem to cause problems by having two of the same named divs on the home page, and it works well for templates (or MS-FrontPage Shared borders as the case may be).
Just an Idea.
Hope it helps,

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that doodleelephant's post was meant to be a reply to this thread???

Actually I meant to reply to THIS thread.
I really should make sure that I've clicked reply instead of new topic. My goof.
Sorry for any confusion, if I could delete my post and repost it I would.
Thanks,
