I am having a problem with os9 mac and IE5. My menu is expanding vertically exponentially when i mouse over. This does not happen when i don't mouse over and it seems to be only a problem with this browser.

visit http://shambhala.creationinfo.net/new/index.html

for an example. It works perfectly in all other browsers and platforms.

.help?

I can't really help, but look higher in the list of threads and you will see another guy complaining about exactly the same thing. The bottom line is that IE 5 for Mac OS 9 is the worst browser ever...probably... there is very little you can do about it unfortunately. All I can say is that the market share for this browser is minute and your menus look lovely on Safari, Firefox, IE 5 for Mac OS X, Opera and Netscape!!

Thanks for checking all those other browsers, tootricky.

I'll second the "dead horse" opinion. I'm sure you know IE is buried on the Mac (thankfully), and I'm really not sure it's worth you time to try and get things going with it.

You are way down level on the menu Version 5.0 Release Candidate 39 Built: Monday January 12 2004 - 11:01, the newest is 5.63 final release, you are still using a release candidate before the final got released, a beta version.

Good catch, Ruth. I usually snag those!

Note also, Cameron, that what you are using is not supported. You will need to upgrade.

Make sure you read all the files included with the download, as there have been many changes in JS calls, aI syntax, etc., since your release.
