How does the milonic "unlock" codes work when you purchase the menu.
I have a client intranet project - we do not have a domain/IP yet.
When you buy a license, do you get the keys to allow one menu to work anywhere or do you have to register a domain with Milonic in order for the menu to work.
If you do not have to register a domain: can I buy a reseller license to use the menu once.
If I buy the corporate license, can i reuse this menu as many times as I want within the company.
If you have to register the domain, what do you do if you dont have a domain.
I thank you so much....

The Pro license is good for one domain - unlimited use on that one domain. When you buy the license you let us know that domain name, then register yourself on our main site to download the software. When you log in to download, the site recognizes you and automatically sends the unlocked code customized for your domain.
If you don't have a domain, how are you going to publish your site? For interim testing you could use the trial version of the menu. See http://milonic.com/.

Thanks John,
As of now, we have a temporary testing domain - IP only.
When the project is done, we will be moving it to the client domain, which they have not decided yet and it could move.
Does the pro license cover 3rd level domains? Ie: if I register the menu to http://www.mydomain.com, will the menu work on http://intranet.mydomain.com
The Pro License is dirt cheap (50$ US) so maybe we'll just get the pro-license for the domain, and if it moves, so what - its only 50$ more.
If I got the Corporate Wide license, does that again tie me to a domain for the corporation?
Thanks for your help - I have only 48 hours to solve this issue.

Hi -
Some of your questions are answered at http://www.milonic.com/licfaq.php (name transfer, sub-domain, etc.). If that doesn't fully cover it Contact Us. Offhand I don't see any problems here, but licensing can sometimes get tricky.

John - you da man! Thanks for youre response. One more quick question:
I think the best route may be for me to buy a World DHTML Menu License -
Will this allow me to basically use the menu wherever/whenver I want? Since it seems to be a "wide-open" license, would I still have to register IP's with Milonic to get it to work - I cant imagine becasue it says I can use the menus on CDroms..
>>The World license will allow you to take full control over who you distribute Milonic products to. This is an unlimited royalty free license.
Please advise

Hi,
The World License will allow you to install the menu on as many websites, Intranets or anything else you need to. All you do is declare a primary domain name for the license and this will appear on all copies of the menu.
So in essence you are permitted to distribute the same copy of the menu as many times as you need to. The copy of the menu will be badged as Worldwide so shouldn't cause any problems.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Cheers
Andy
