We are evaluating Milonic menus,

but menus run very slowly in IE. In Netscape they works fine.

our site is in spanish, please visit us here:

http://montecarlo.test.bbr.cl/EMARKETWe ... ction=view

and then click "Visitenos" button.

The most important and bigger menu is "Productos".
After you select a category, the site will show the products in that category.

There are a link bar showing all the Path to that category, movig the mouse over the path submenus will be displayed.

Our client love milonic menus, but are very slow, and we need your help before to find another solution.

thanks in advance

Hi,

I've had a look at your data file and see that it is quite huge.

This will ultimately means that the menu will have a lot a work to do in setting itself up at first. Having to build over 600 menus with over 1200 menu items will take time.

However, we will investigate and see if performance can be improved. You could also consider the usability concept of what you are trying to achieve. Too much data and too many options could confuse the user so it's always best to try and limit the information that is presented to the user.

There is one other option that we could provide but I don't know if it will help and that is our SCombo product. The url for this is http://www.milonic.com/scombo/ - This system will handle a very large number of options and the number of menus you can include is unlimited. Again, data can get very confusing when you add more menus though.

Cheers
Andy
