help ! 2 pop up menus with 2 gifs

hey everybody
i'm very new in programming and can't solve the following problem :
i have two different gifs in different places in my html page and want popup menu appear with on mouseover
i don't understand : the first gif is okay with the popup but when i click on the second the popup menu appear on the first gif !
could someone explain me what to do ?

You've given us absolutely nothing to go on as far as what you have done so far with your programming. We're pretty good around here, but not quite at the psychic stage.

Good answer John, was thinking the same, but since I'm almost psychic, maybe this will help in the styles.

overimage="/.../...gif";

or

subimage="/.../...gif";
onsubimage="/.../...gif";

make sure to get the paths correct.
