RC12: "Itemwidth" variable still broken

As I reported on 24 September about RC11 <http://www.milonic.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2619&sid=9e44a1ad61542590b91cda893135e663>, the trick to cause the menu bar to extend to the right end of the screen is still broken in RC12 (adding the following line of code as the last menu entry).
