Problems with sub offset

Hello
I've tried to search for this but came up short...
My problem is that the sub offset meny shows up just about anywhere
It seems to depend on what resolution I have and also if the screen is maximized or not, also what kind of browser I try it in...
the menu is positioned relative inside a div

I guess I'll have to answer myself... but that doesn't mean I know the anser
If I remove my .css-file everything works just fine, anyone knows a workaround for this problem?

Here is my guess, because the Mac is not good at handling div. I generally avoid them and use tables. Maybe the div is placing the menu down a layer allowing it to take on css properties first.

If this is the case, you may be able to find a work around.

I had to make the submenu absolutely positioned, now it works!

Whoa, darlin'. Can't let that one slide by.

Remember, you're way down the ladder in both OS and browser versions (not pickin', just 'xplainin' ). The Mac is NOT the problem, because is has nothing to do with interpreting the HTML. It's the old browsers that are at fault. I use divs all the time with no problems at all with current browsers.
