Which version of the menu are you using? The V5 menu does not use frames.

Please post a URL so we can see what problems you are having.

I think you will find that cat is using IFRAMES as I too have the problem that the sub menu's drop down behind any IFRAME already on display.

If anyone can come up with a solution I'm listening.

Andy, just to let you know I have now completed the move from frames to IFRAMES and apart from the problem here everything looks OK.

Version 5 should display over top of iframes without any intervention right out of the box. Interesting how you are having problems. Do you have a URL or code we could look at (of both the page and the menu_data)? Make sure you have an id and name set inside the iframe. Also try putting the iframes ID in the menus hidediv declaration (hidediv=iframeID;) but I doubt it will do anything since the menu should do it automatically.

If you look at sample 11 "Opening Windows and Frames" this shows the problem perfectly?

I have tried putting the "hidediv" in to the menu but as you thought this has no effect.

If you want to look at my site "www.im-press.co.uk" try the product catalogue sub menu, this shows the problem perfectly as I have only semi hidden the sub menu.

Its your browser. Both pages work perfectly over on my side. What browser are you using? (type, version, hotfixes, etc)

Yes, I was worried that this would be the answer, I am currently using MSIE5, I have been attempting to upgrade to either 5.5 or even 6 for the last few weeks but without success as the install keeps falling over. I am afraid it is looking like a full re-install of windows, ah well I need to upgrade from 98 anyway.

Thanks for the confirmation.

Regards
Ian

Now I feel kinda bad. But then again, this will be good for you. Go out and get yourself a fresh copy of IE and Windows, it will be well worth it. :D
