Page highlighting

My first little wish items as a new user

I'd like to be able to set further attributes for the 'Page..' items, eg 'pagebold', 'pagedecoration' etc

Also, it'd be nice if a horizontal menu could be evenly spaced across the browser whatever width it was, rather than being squashed up at the left hand side.

(If these are already available, sorry, but I couldn't see them in the docs)

The first request you have is not currently in the menu, but thanks for the idea, it might get in there someday.

I am not totally sure what you mean by your second request, but I am guessing itemwidth would be what you are looking for. Look in the menu items quick reference on the homepage and you will see the attribute itemwidth. This allows you to set how wide each menu item is individually, so the menu isnt just the size of the text inside of it.

With itemwidth can I set a percentage of the screen width?

I looked at itemwidth, but I can't set, for instance, each item to be '100' pixels wide as I don't know the width of the window (easily)

Yes you can set it to percentages...but you MAY get unexpected results. Things may not line up exactly how you want them. Give it a shot and see if that works...the last time I tried it was on like, RC3 or 4.

You may want to also try something I have mentioned before. Do a search on the version 5 forum for posts authored by Hergio and include itemwidth and 100% and you should get some posts (from a couple months ago) where I describe creating one more menu link on the end of your menus and making that 100% so it stretches the rest of the way to the browser edge.

Best o' luck.
