Make Version 3 display vertically

According to DynamicDrive.com this menu script has an option to display vertically. I see no such option in the menu_arrays.js file. All examples I've seen are of a horizontal nav menu. How do I get it to display vertically?

If you got your menu from Dynamic Drive, it may be so old that the feature isn't there! Download the latest version from here.
