Resisting the scroll bar! - how to supress the scroll bar

I have a working version 5 milonic menu. I also have a working DJtextmenu, which runs as a java applet.

If I have a long menu, long enough to fit on the screen without scrolling, DJtextmenu will move the top of the menu upward. i.e. I don't need to scroll with DJtextmenu.

Can I Milonic menu do this?

Nothing special. Just build your menu and it will adjust itself. But don't make it too long for the window.

Yeah I believe the menu will only utilize the scroll if it determines the menu will not fit in the width of the window. If it feels it can, it will move the menu up or down or left or right to get it to fit.

I've tried this. It didn't work.

The menu was big enough to fit in the window (if the top of the menu was to move upwards), but the menu didn't move upwards.

Post a URL.

Works at http://www.west.asu.edu/sa/testsite/sl1.htm. Shorten the page up bit by bit and you'll see the menu move. When the page gets too short the scroll bar comes on.

I'm using a horizontal menu.

Sorry for the delay.

This page is an example:
http://www.milonic.com/

Choose option "DHTML Menu" from the Menu bar.

If you resize the browser window to make it shorter than the length of the menu, the top of the menu does not move upwards to enable the menu to fill all of the available space.

The same happens with a long list. A long list will scroll once it hits the bottom of the browser window, rather than the top of the menu moving upwards to accommodate the menu's size.
