Menu transparency

Hi,

I just uploaded DHTML Menu version 3.3.19 and realized that there is a transparency problem with it. I'm placing some buttons under the vertical scrolling menu, which are supposed to be seen ONLY after the menu scrolls down. However, the buttons underneath the menu can be seen somewhat and interfere with a supposedly clean looking menu. What can I do to solve this problem?

Thanks a lot.

You're lucky you found only that problem :!: ;)

That version is over 25 levels down from what is current. Also, the v3 series is no longer supported. Go to http://milonic.com/ and download the latest v5 system, then come back if you still have problems.

hi again,

the problem of transparency is not so much on the version Im using since the actual navigational system used on this site has the same problem.

Can you help?

Thanks

Not with that lack of info :!: Give us details of exactly what is happening, browser and version, OS, etc. AFAIK, nobody else has complained of a transparency problem on the main site.

I would appreciate it if you focus on the problem itself rather than a version, which I already said I have.

There is a transparency problem on my version and the one used on this website. If you can see through the drop down menus, then there is a problem. I use windows xp, which is becoming the norm so my visitors will have the same problem as yours. So, is there a solution or not? Can a background image be used? If so how?

thanks

Read it again. I asked nothing about a menu version. I did ask about browser and OS versions.

Quite the contrary. If you cannot see through the menu then there is a problem. This is a feature of the system, controlled by a parameter that the user sets.

I suggest you step back a bit and consider how you are presenting yourself. Since you know nothing at all about this system, don't you think it would have been better to ask if that was, if fact, a problem, rather then blatantly stating that it is a problem?
