I've just uploaded the latest menu, and my bordercolors are definitely affected by the new release. It showing an aqua and navy color with the two menus I am running on my site, neither have their stated bordercolors showing #999999 and #666600.

RC14 re-introduced the 3D menus.
As you have:
Code:
high3dcolor="#66ffff";
low3dcolor="#000099";
low3dcolor="#000099";
In your code - this be the problem.
Cheers
Andy.

I noticed and utilized it right away, but thats also when I lost left=2 for my tools menu, now it sits on the browser edge.
Wonder if I can get another white line for shadow depth to make followscroll menu appear to float away from its shadow.

THANK YOU ANDY! You are "da man!" Been waiting for that one. I've been messing with css styles to get a 3D effect... much easier with the built-in method.
A couple of points worth mentioning, in case someone comes across this thread searching for high3dcolor and low3dcolor. (1) The 3D effect works in conjunction with the borderwidth and separatorsize style properties, becoming more pronounced as the values for these properties increase. (2) It works for vertical separators in horizontal menus as well as for horizontal separators in vertical menus (it only worked for vertical menus in version 3). (3) You get the effect with vertical separators even when your menu style's separatorsize is set to 1... in fact, 1 and 2 yield the same effect with vertical separators, at least in IE. (4) You must have separatorsize set to at least 2 to get the full 3D effect for horizontal separators.
Thanks again Andy.

Can I get a fix on 3dcolor, my main menu with followscroll loads okay but once loaded 3dcolor outline extends the rest of the page. Only top and left stay in place.
Edit: I got around to figuring out the white underline when no border is on top of color.
Its impossible to get rid of the border-bottom its always set to 1. Removing the border doesn't take it away, border=0 or less than all three properties creates an error.
By setting all 3 border values you can now see the white underline is gone:

The thick blue/red line is a background image 4px color, the border was throwing my padding off by 1px. right now its set to 5px to correct for the border, if I set padding to 4px then the background color looks like 3px.
Thank you,
maz

I had better post anew so that you see my retraction about the border was incorrect.
Its all about bgimage, in my case I cannot say what font and size will change the positioning of the background, even though it is handy for on and off features.
I suspect, when a background lands beyond an end point there is nothing to stop it overflowing.
I don't know the set up for background image, I suspect its left, middle, repeat x or y, so if its length is width that lands short of its end point, it keeps on repeating looking for the end point that it just jumped. This usually occurs horizontally in submenus and vertical in horizontal menus.
This still doesn't explain why bgcolor overflows vertically on main menu, unless a computer screen font size change directs bgcolor outside of its end point where there is nothing to stop the flow.
Should I keep guessing?

maz
(now I'm stuck, I need border-bottom)

Pretty please, can I remind you on the 3D border, its why the page links won't work with followscroll out of a table.
The 3d border was hidden until now, its also why the submenus open on the other side of the page... where the 3D border ends.
If 3D border stays in place then it will clear up a lot of problems.
Only when the menu is in a table 3D stays in place and the submenus open. But it won't work in relative, or when there is another table infront of it, thats when the scroll menus mess up.
Thank you,
maz

Will screenshots help?
Followscroll out of table in mac ie 5.1.7
I removed shadow and 3D - border made no difference, so I left it in to show what 3D is doing.
3D is always present whether its an item or not.
Menu loading:

Menu loaded:
http://mercuryexposure.org/template/main/images/2milonic.gif
scroll bar:
http://mercuryexposure.org/template/main/images/3milonic.gif
scroll bar later:
http://mercuryexposure.org/template/main/images/4milonic.gif
another sroll bar:

This is why page links won't work with followscroll out of a table, in a table acts abnormal in position=relative or absolute.
take no note of rest of page not loading, that was trying to get the screen shots of the followscroll problem.

Here is the same thing in table position=relative
Main menu js code script inserted into table.
This shows the shadow moving down the page, not the menu:
http://mercuryexposure.org/template/mai ... ilonic.gif
This is after I opened a submenu with scroll (scroll bar was white) then moved the page down, the menu moved down just a fraction and stuck there and the shodow moved.

Sometimes when I open a submenu with scroll the menu jerks up or down and opens another submenu.
I don't know what else to do
I tried removing everything down to a skeleton menu without background, borders, etc., no change.
Thanks
